Already knew about the modem lease fee myself. I already owned my own router and modem so when i bought my house I made sure they didnt charge me for either. Been talking around with people all day and this charge seems to be very widespread in the TWC universe. I think they are trying to prey on people who do not know what the charge is and are willing to accept them saying that it cannot be removed. Rep told me that I could switch to the everyday low price if I only accessed my email or FB once or twice a month. She said I will be getting charged for extra data usage over the 2mbps so that the switch would not benefit me.
